Oisín McDaid, as an artist, is fascinated by the intersection of traditional portraiture and cutting edge technology. Through his paintings McDaid explores the concept of identity in the digital age.
Seeking to create portraits that combine the advancing world of digital art with our traditional practices of painting and ‘DeCollage’
McDaid uses A.I. generated imagery as a tool to challenge traditional notions of representation.
The work produced by McDaid aims to spark conversations about technology’s role in shaping our understanding of identity and what it truly means to be human.”

Charlie is an interdisciplinary artist based in South Wales. Her practice takes diverse forms, from site-specific responses, photography, film installations, documentation and live performance.
Charlie’s work explores the intersection between the psychological and spiritual by pushing perceived limitations of the body and mind. Liminality, tensions and space have a recurrent thematic presence in her work, themes of metamorphosing, and transforming through temporal modalities.
Charlie’s performances are often intense, and atmospheric, presenting vulnerability and ambiguity, inviting the viewer to experience a kinaesthetic response, something felt and sensed through an inner movement creating a line of connection and a visceral experience.
I am an oil painter from Devon that has recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from Cardiff Metropolitan University. I am currently based in Cardiff and my work focuses on the functionless and banal spaces and moments of the everyday.
I take images of people, places and objects that represent loose but theatrical narratives of our edgeland spaces, which are then edited and painted through the medium of oil paint. The aim of my work is to encapsulate the intangible essence of liminality by situating the everyday into a slightly abstracted world, taking time to contemplate the nature of third space and the uncanny.
I believe that exploring these concepts can help me understand the parts of our lives that exist outside of social paradigms.
